200 TDI series 1 conversion.

I know you all think I'm mad. Has anyone out there done a 200TDI conversion to an 88" series 1. Engines dead and fancy a bit more power. Any thoughts on which engine and gearbox combination would be best option. Will it fit straight onto series 2a box as I have heard it will from another land rover addict. What other changes need to be made?

Im Tying With The Same Idea, Last Engine Went Pop So Thru A 3.3 Perkins On A S2a Box In For A Make Do. Main Problem With This Is The Height Of The Engine, Touches Bonnet. Have Concerns That A 200 Will Also Be To Tall? If You Get Any Further Give Us A Shout.
