newbie here so hello every 1

right here goes,
1990 disco 2.5 tdi
1 day jumpted out of clutch was fine then jumpted out and posted letter, jumpted back into car and clutch pedal went to the floor???

so had a look and the dampener unit was leaking so was replaced
still no pedal&no pressure
so changed clutch master cylinder and new flexi, bled whole system
still nothing, so took slave cylinder out and opend nipple then pushed piston back lots of air came out so i bled it again holding piston in,so there was no air behind piston

THEN pushed the pedal and is was solid, so i tryed to bleed it again when you hold the pedal down the hard bit of the pedal dose drop to but when you pump it back up ot goes hard again any help PLEASE PLEASE

also the clutch fork should you be able to push it back(with a bar or something)

thanks
tommy

no way i was hoping it wasnt that it looks like the fork is very close to bell housing so that would give me reson for hard pedal this sound about right dosent it

but still have to strip down all props transfer box etc dont i

as for the user name thats my track car 2litre turbo xr3i

thanks for the reply s
tommy

do i hace to strip down ever thing, gear box transfer box etc just had a look at few threds they say abou a hatch in the floor, how do i get to this any help as i have only done work on fwd cars

thanks

Well small reply

had a look inside were the fork is and the fork was very close to housing
so had a look behind the slave and found a small hole in the bellhouse casing about 8mm dia ,so i got a screw driver and pushed it in and the fork moved foward

so i am left thinking that i need to make a pivot pin ?????

any 1 got a box diagram of the pin etc
thanks
tommy

but the hard pedal is basicly the fork hitting the bellhousing wont go any further

should there be a hole in the back of the housing
