2.5td - 200tdi

Hello,

I'm after a bit of advice, what cost am i looking at to take out a 2.5na diesel engine and change it to a 200tdi in a 90. Is it worth the effort, or should i just keep looking for a 90 that already has a 200tdi engine in it?

have a look on ebay, you'll be better off with a 300tdi but i think both will be pricey

get a dihatsu 2.8 td think they are ok!

Unless you have the workshop facilities to do it, and a good 200tdi wont be cheap, i

should keep your eye out for one thats already been done, i paid well under 2k for mine and its a beaut.

I think thats what i will do, there have been a couple of real good ones that i have seen about for sale, but they both sold really quick, just need to sell mine ASAP really.

depends what you want to do...
fit a disco engine ?
or a defneder engine?
disco...average about 400 ish
defender ...rocking horse doo doo
i got a disco 200 in mine along with a disco box
and its brill, you can change gear quickly when you need to unlike before, swinging off the blinnin gearstick to get it into 3rd
