Hi all,

In my 2000 V6 I get around 180 miles per full tank, no matter if I drive sensible or not, motorway or around town, over the past 15000 miles it has returned the same.

Another V6 owner on here has told me he is getting around 270 miles per tank, can all you over V6 owners post your MPG / Mileage per tank so I can compare. Cheers all

Its the Mrs car actually and she gets around 230 out of a tank-that a 17 mile A/B road drive each way.

I have seen 240 when driving at 70mph (unusal to go that slow, but had a bad wheel wobble).

Strange thing is, even when I tow my track car (E36 BMW) on a twin axle Brian James trailer, I still get 200 miles

It is a 2005 HSE 5 door by the way.

Haven't counted how many miles it does before it wants topping up, from the max mark to the min mark takes about a month. Basic weekly maintenance - check coolant/oil/screenwash levels, oil level never budges, screenwash gets topped up and the coolant gets a dribble put in to keep it at the max mark so it int an issue.

I didnt realise that the V6s used water?

Whats the issue with them?

5 years experience with a 2003 V6 - Nice car, very quiet and quick, but thirsty. Depending on how driven and journey lengths mpg will be 'tween 20 and 25.
Car was probably intended for cheap fuel in USA, not our stuff at £1.11.
