Perched on the naughty step
Hi chaps been a while since I've used this section  anyway, the first major job on the new series is the renewal of a rusty core plug so going to do the whole block set. The head ones I don't really want to touch, so where are these located and how easy are they to do ?

I'll have a look at my parts and service manual to see as well but was just wanting some first hand experience on how easy they are to remove/fit as my plan was to punch a hole in them with a hammer and large nail then prise them out with a large screwdriver before refitting using instant gasket

Cheers

dont use instant gasket ues loctite ,side ones punch in and lever out with molegrips on the edge of plug, rear one needs a cross chiseling in it to shrink it as will front , tap in so edge is just past bevelled edge ,further in than flush ,socket needs to be a bit smaller than inner diameter as sides will grab it if too good a fit
