hey all, cpl of pics of my 1st session in the new disco, didnt take many, was concentratin on the drivin a m8 will b passanger next time so will b plenty of pics

Nice photo's, but is that site actually legal? If it is great and ignore the rest of this message!

But it looks more like open open moorland, in which case you are clearly showing your vehicles and registration numbers away from any legal tracks, this could result in you losing your vehicles, not to mention giving ammunition against the rest of us to the anti 4x4 brigade! :doh:

I thought I recognised the 90, seen it a few times in Penygroes recently

:S like i said, i'm new to all this :S didnt know it was so strict on where you culd go , presumed common land was common land :S but the bloke in the other landy has the right for 100 sheep on the mountain so dunno where that would put us? a lot of other people use it too every weekend, will ahve to look into it, dont wanna cause hassle for us and other people, thanks for the heads up!

Get some os landranger maps for the areas you go into, they will show you the routes you can and can not use.

you can buy them in most camping shops and country garages sell them aswell.

This is the map of the area, I can only see a couple of designated footpath's in that area, but I've only got a Explorer map for when I walk that area. As celyth said though there is a lot of activity around the quarry, mainly from bikes and quads.

Are the Landranger maps more detailed than Explorer maps?

Good for him, I say. We can all make mistakes, it's been pointed out to him and he hasn't spat his dummy out but quietly taken the pics down, way to go in my book!
