Need to move the drivers side engine mount, passenger side stays the same. Its the same block as the 12J (2.5 N/A) which is whats installed in mine.

Only modification that had to be made to fit the 12J was move one of the mounts forward, move the battery box forward by an inch or so (some people say you have to fit the battery under the seat but they're wrong, it will still fit under the bonnet) and fit a switch for the electric solenoid

Use red white coil supply to feed diesel solenoid if originally petrol.
Been done many times so do a search.
By the way 19J engine has a very bad reputation , better off with a N/A 2.5 or a 200 from a discovery.

I think Aidso on here fitted one into his series 3 (or it was already fitted) but that was a proper job with an intercooler added to the engine to help keep the temperature down and that went well if I remember right

N/A is much more reliable. I think grafting the turbo on to make the 19j upset the engine a bit, cracked pistons and all that. The N/A goes well in a series, you wouldnt think it but the extra 8hp makes a big difference
