Hi I have recently had quite a bad oil leak from near the radiator and it has been leaking a lot and it almost looks like it’s sprayed all over rut engine bay. Has anyone experienced this on a Range Rover P38 2.5 DT automatic Range Rover.

Yes the engine oil cooler sits in-front of the rad under the intercooler, if thats what is leaking the pipes do not come of very easy and normally bugger the threads on the cooler ending up as new cooler and pipes time:(

Check the pipe from the turbo to the intercooler too.

The two pipes coming from the bottom of the oil filter housing can fail on the joints where the rubber is crimped onto the steel ends.
The intercooler can also weep oil if split.
Wipe as much oil as possible or use brake cleaner (not while the engine is running) then with the engine running after a few moments cup a finger under the oil pipe near the rubber tube endings and check fo oil leaks. Even a small amount if oil can look like a disaster but without seagulls...
If this is the case check the two pipe ends that go into the oil filter at the bottom, they can drop also and normally along the gearbox pipes. ;)
