1998 jimmy no fuel

i just replaced an engine 4.3 in my sons 98 jimmy 4x4. When i went to start
it, it wont start. I checked the fuel pressure and no pressure. i checked
the relay and i have power on 1 post which is constant power. When the key
is turned there is no power to the other side of relay. All the wires are
hooked up right. I went back and checked every wire and made sure each
wire is at it's respective place off the harness. Any ideas to check fuel
pump power or to atleast get the pump on so i can check for any leaks?
Changing this engine was a "PAIN"

When you put the scan tool on it, what codes did it give you?

The relay is supposed to cut the fuel pump off after ~2 seconds if the
engine isn't running.

There's a connector that bypasses the relay called "fuel pump test
terminal". On my '95 (S-10 Blazer 4.3) it's a grey wire. If you hook that
to 12V your fuel pump should run.
