I have decided that I am going to get me a defender 90 as I am looking to do more competitive stuff and the Disco is just a bit to big and bulky. It is a great truck and one I have spent lots of time and money upgrading, the suspension is absolute top notch gear and has made it very competitive on the mud and bumpy stuff. It is a reliable truck, it goes through pretty much anything, starts on the button e.t.c. The chassis is 100% solid, the body has a few bits, well, the inside top of the rear arches have a small hole in and boot floor which I have the panel for but havent fitted as its not falling out or anything. The sills have been repaired and are all OK, the front arches and inner arches are all good.

New cambelt
New Alternator
New waterpump
New radiator
All new hoses
Oils all changed (engine, boxes, diffs)
New wheel bearings all round
New brakes all round
Basically I have done everything to this, it is fully spec'd and will go pretty much anywhere, the only reason im selling is I want a comp spec vehicle and for that I need a 90. If I cant get what im asking I shall break this and swap all the gear across and sell the rest off.
A few points just so you know, the dash has started to lift around the front, I have stuck a few screws in, you can get a proper repair kit for about £50 but it never bothered me. The rear windows use to stick now and again, I have disconnected the switch as people would put them down and then couldn't get them up when we hit a puddle e.t.c. Erm, thats about it I think, I probably have missed something but I cant think of it at the moment. Please remember this is an off roader, it is covered in scratches from bushes and trees with the odd dent here and there, nothing too major but its not a minter by any means! It also has the usual paint peeling that LR's get.
As I have already got my defender I need to sell so £1650. The parts alone come to alot more than this, if you wanted to get a disco of this spec built your looking at £5000+. Make no mistake, im not selling cos its rotten or its dodgy, this is a great truck, its purely because I have done the possibly stupid thing of getting a defender, someone will be getting a royal bargin with this, its being sold well under value personally...

Sills are in good condition, nothing to worry about:
The sort of rust to expect, few bits like this and the boot floor (didnt get pics as its full up) which is there but has rusted on the welds, I will be supplying a new panel though:
The suspension set up, its not just shocks and springs but dropped turrets/mounts, hoses, bumpstops, rear arms and cones:
