1993 Defender 90 Hard Top Portofino Red with white smooth roof with sun roof. Owned by my son for the last 11 years. Oil changed every 5000 miles and used on relatively long journeys. Taxed to end December 2012, MOT to August 2013. New MIB rear cross member just fitted. Grabber AT2 235x85x16 tyres. Uses no oil between changes even though now at 235,000 miles( purchased at 50,000 miles. Gearbox and transfer box completely over hauled about 50,000 miles ago, transmission very taught, no knocks, grunts or bangs. Turbo renewed at about 130,000 miles mistakenly - timing had slipped slightly. Radiator replaced at about 190,000. Has dent on bonnet and drivers door. Doors are in good condition, shown with door cards removed, these will be re-fitted. Interior dash good, drivers seat squab has a split in it and some of the sound deadening has broken off. Vehicles drives very well and is quiet by Land Rover standards.. this vehicle is not modified and is not your average Defender.. everything works apart from electric rear window.. Rear tub has always had full rubber mat fitted, dog guard, and Kenwood radio and remote CD autochanger fitted. Set of side stripes for door available. Reason for sale is it is replaced by new Freelander.
