hello all, quick into to me.
thought i was registered on here from before, but couldn't log on, so made a new profile etc.
i have had this rangie 12yrs, and over 80,000 miles up and down the country and various jaunts into the continent. it used to me my daily, but now its in semi retirement. used for loadlugging and winter duties out in the sticks of Devon (near Tiverton).
its had quiet a hard life with just 199,000 miles on the clock, with a mix of off roading, city speed bumps and now countryside scratchy hedges.
its had masses of welding done over the years, to try and keep it going and in one piece (sort of one but more like lots of small bits patched together) .
i am determined to try and keep it going, and try and drive it once a week if poss.
well it normally starts fine, but this week its decided to give me some electrical trouble for the first time ever! posted on another thread.

i have been in a few different LR clubs around the place, over the years, and now, but have not been out off roading with a club for a few years. last one was down salisbury plane with Essex LR club.
there is a nice local byway 1 mile from here (in some of the pictures) that i do now and again though, and took a friend up there a couple of weeks ago

so will let the pictures and videos do the rest of the talking. no particular order

Welcome Brother

Menacing exhaust - i have a feeling there may be many dead moggies contained therein.

where did you get the overfinch-spec wheels from?

yes, i was always of the thinking that if you are going to have a V8, you should be able to hear it! had the exhaust custom made.
the wheels are Compomotive 16x 8.5J iirc, bought them brand new along with the BFG AT, back in 2001! not seen many about on other cars, so guess they are quite rare then?
no idea if they still make them?
my big spending days on this car are long gone now! but its had a packet spent on it over the 12yrs, most of it in the early days.

thanks for the welcome.
the car is a little worse for wear these days, but hopefully i can keep the dream alive for a while longer.
any 4x4 meets you know of in devon then? been down here two years and not heard of any?
though will have to be after i manage to get her started again
