Trying to trace some intermittent oddities....

The wiring loom that comes from the bulkhead to the left hand side (UK) along the wing to the front lamps, washer and horn....

I have the following wire colours and have deduced the following (Main Colour / Trace Colour):

Purple / Black - Horn
Green / Red (Thick) - L/H Indicator
Blue / White - L/H Main
Blue / Pink - L/H Dip
Red / Black - L/H Side
Green / Red (Thin) - to Rear L/H Indicator (I think)
Green / Black - Washer Pump (front)
Black / Green - ?????
Purple / Blue - ?????

I am going to be re-running new wiring for these wires, as somewhere along the run, they have become brittle and require replacing.

But I cannot fathom what the last two colours are for!

Anyone any clues?

Also, for the L/H rear indicator - as this is showing no juice on the Green / Red wire at the back end - can I just take a fly lead tapped from the Thick Green / Red up front and run it to the rear??

Just had a look at my loom as it's hanging from the garage roof...
Both front wing wiring branches contain BG wires, my right is not labelled but left is and goes to washer pump. Both cables enter the cab and go to a 6.3 female blade right where the rear wash wipe switch is. As the rear wash wipe doesn't feature on my standard wiring diagram I can only assume its for that despite the Haynes manual showing just black. It will go to both sides to account for lhd tratters.
BG is also used as I said above regarding the auto but this is a short run from the starter relay to the block that contains the seat belt / hand brake wires. (Sits In engine bay)

Awesome, that is a massive help thank you.

I have a rear washer motor on the bottle (as it is a CSW) so thats why I couldn't find reference to a rear washer motor on the diagrams....

So if the PU wire is for internal door switches for the interior lamps - why does it feature in the wiring loom to the front of the vehicle?? - Odd!
