1984 LAND ROVER 110 CHASSIS METAL TYPE

Hello ! Hope this post finds everybody well ! I am going to repair the chassis on my 1984 110 and would like to know what type of metal sheet i must use ! I know that the thickness of the sheet must be 2mm. Let me know !

no worries, once you have welded it up, squirt as much cavity wax inside the chassis as you can then paint the outside and should last well. The earlier landrovers (like yours) arguably had better steel than the later ones

Thank you again for the info ! I am going to use Dinitrol products for the inside section of the chassis and POR-15 for the outside. I think it should last well !
