1978 GMC 4x4

i bought a 78 gmc and the speedo cable was not hooked up. i bought a new
one but cannot find where to hook to on the tranny or transfer case any
help appreciated

It is on the drivers side of Tcase near rear output unless someone has
put a different Tcase in there.
