Pretty certain you are going to need more than a tin of wd40 to sort that out!
Only other one ive seen with the same screen demisters as my 59.
Look on e bay for the correct ribbed footwell repair panels, look so much better than the flat ones, bloke who makes them is a member of the s2 forum and you get a discount

right got it pretty much stripped down bare chassis now. got all parts for chassis and engine. bulkhead is the biggest problem. unsure whether its worth trying to repair or to save up and buy a new one

Time, money, more money and plenty of time. Piece of cake :frusty: It will be worth it it the long run though. sometimes it won't seem that way
