Anyone got an idea on this problem: I have a 110 double cab and want to fit a roof rack to it......the problem is this...i want to fit a full length ally roof rack .... Hannibal and Patriot are in the frame as i want the rear ladders as access. Problem is..sometimes i want to lay up full length on the rack , parked up quiet and waiting .....and other times i will need to stand up in the rear tub shooting forward on the move....rabbitting etc.....so to do that i need a trap door in the rack ...which seems a shame given the fully rigid build of the above (beautifully made racks......
So.......
Any ideas?....any rack i have not sen that would work.....or like a folder that hinges at the back of a 110 cab and folds forward for times i want to stand up?

many thanks.....

oh and one last one...who makes a fitted plastic storage tub that fits into the whole rear tub of a 110 double cab...if anyone...i can fit a check plate liner but wondered if there was a rear load space 'box' instead.

thanks again.....R

Sorry, not quite sure I get that. So your 110, is it a hardtop, station wagon, pickup etc? So assuming you have a station wagon or hardtop, you want to have a trapdoor type thing in the bottom of your roof rack so you can poke your head out the sunroof/other leaky opening in roof to shoot something?

He does say it's the DoubleCab - quite clear really :)

He wants to fit a full length 110 rack but still be able to stand up in the pickup end in the back, not up through the roofrack...

Only thing I can think of is to get a full length rack and have it modified by a good metal worker...

OH!:doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:
I didn't think of what a full length rack for a pickup would be and thought it strange since you would be able to stand and shoot from the tray with a half length roof rack!:doh::doh: Looks like you'll either have to have a rack modified, as thwarden said, or you may be able to have one custom made from somewhere.
As for tub lining, I don't think anyone makes these, but there are the spray on variety such as
