As above. I am looking at an F plate 110 CSW. It looks very fresh chassis wise and overall looks very well.
However there are issues I would like advice on.
The conversion to a discovery 300tdi and r 380 gearbox was done by the owner before this one.
The new owner says the temp gauge reads hotter (not boiling though) because the temperature sender unit is a 300tdi one and not fully compatible with the dash gauge. He says it needs replaced with the correct one ands its never bothered him. This makes sense but is it true.
Also the rev counter does not work. Again this could be because of how or where it's driven from on the old engine not transferring on to the new. He has a new gauge for this but is not sure it will solve the issue.
Finally the rear crank seal is leaking. I understand what's involved in replacing this.
It has almost a full years Mot and will in the meantime replace my D2 which needs welding.
What a the 110 worth?
