Hi All
Have been cleaning and painting the chassis and fitting parabolics to the rear of my 109 (Salisbury axle) only to find the prop clearance through the handbrake end crossmember is now less than 0mm on the bottom of the crossmember hole. The new springs have dropped the axle about 70mm overall relative to the old spring axle position. I have located the front of the springs via the upper bolt holes and whilst this has improved the situation, I still have only about 3mm clearance at the bottom of the crossmember hole. Is there a spacer kit and longer U bolt set available to raise the axle by 10-20mm or am I going to have to re-engineer the crossmember, which is not a problem....just a lot more work!!
