I have a late series 1 and looking to join conversations, to help, hints and tips.

Hi. It’s a pick-up, a break down recovery truck. Fitted with a 2.6 6 cylinder petrol which looks original. But I’ve never heard reference of this engine being offered in the series 1. In 1957 the last series 1 had 88” and a 109” wheel bases, fully floating axels front and rear and were The transition before the series 2. So I think the running gear is correct but the 2.6L engine I’m not so sure.
