I am new to the forum but hope somebody can help.
i have a 1.8 petrol freelander on 03 plate. the head gasket has just been replaced and the car ran ok for two weeks. fluid levels ok. however came to start it the other morning and the engine spins but does not start. There is no petrol to the injector bar. other stuff that happened at the time. the key fob battery was playing up so we have replaced it. alarm activates and turns off ok. one strange thing that is happening is when the car is stood with no iginition on the cooling fans kick in, once you put the key in the ignition to stage 1 they stop. so when i take the key out the fans flattern the battery. does this point to the ecu.
