Wanted a 1.4:1 tranny box lt230 now I've gone back to std diffs 1.003:1 is a little too high and Erm wanting to tow a car transporter simply isn't going to work.

I'm after a 1.411:1 defender ratio tranny box LT 230 don't mind teaveing ideally a known good item but anything considered. Am expecting to fit new input gear as many are worn. Money waiting no problem travelling within 100-130 miles

Tell me about it I've got so much to do and a baby due next month. Which is looking more like middle of this month. My best swap out was the 1.2:1 box made motorway journeys so much better and seemed a lot less rushed and stressful. My only fear is going 1.4 I will hate driving it (it's currently so high geared it's a horrible but not as bad as I expected). But for towing which will be its primary role to competitions it needs to be able to tow a car trailer without grumbling!! I don't think a 1.2 with with sensible bfg 33's will work.

Will be sold I have a buyer already as they're quite sort after these days. Used to be 1.6:1 but now portal axles are all the rage 1:1.003 are popular

Well it's working perfect right not done much work. I'll post it on here once I remove it the guy has offered £180 if I deliver it he's only 50 mins away again for a planned project
