07 bulkhead into a series ?

Hello All, Has anyone out there in the zone fitted a new 07/08 bulkhead into a series 3. Due to the shortage of bulkhead parts and my poor standard of welding I'm thinking of replacing my rotten one for a complete new bulkhead. If any one has done this swap I'd be interested to know if there are any problems to watch out for when addapting the new one. Cheers, Les.

Mek sure yer doors fit back on after you've done it. Cos Grants didn't.

Les,

use a TD5 bulkhead, part num AHA710460 (Panel assembly Dash). It is £198 inc VAT. Some versions of the dash panel (Landy speak for the bulkhead) are hideously expensive.

Thanks Protacter,
I'm expecting to have to change the wind screen brackets and enlarge the gearbox tunnel. any one know if there is any thing else I'll need to chop about ? I'm not interested in keeping the motor original, I just want a solid landy.

Yes, wscreen brackets and transmission tunnel. You can change the footwells using S3 repair panels. Several brackets need to come off. Washer jet is 1 central double one instead of two individuals.

All quite straightforward really.
