04 Freelander 1 2ltr TD4 facelift.

Hi Guys,

I have been offered a the above car for £1000 130k on the clock.

Engin is Clean and no problems no oil or rust

The underneath is ok no rust. And the bodywork is good just a problem with the rear door regulator. The passenger side front drop link will need replacing. That is it everythin else is amazingly good order.

Full service history

I think it is a good find

I recon I will need to replace the clutch and master and slave Cylinder

Have I missed anything it almost sounds too good to be true.

Do you think it is worth me going for.

Is it rough on start, dies it smoke or smell of diesel at the exhaust our does it have any flat spots that could point to worn injectors? £230 per injector (exchange).

Other than that..... Seems fair

Hi No Dosh,

None of the above but theFront passenger drop link will need replacing soon. I have a pair of those in The workshop someware so no worries.

sounds ok to me my old td4 did178000 miles before we parted and I have had another one as long as your oil is changed on time as well as crank case filter it should last you
