pipes were firm but could move a bit worried about headCheck the cooling system, check that rad and aircon condensor if fitted are clear of debris. Check viscous fan. If there is a cooling problem obviously towing will show it up. Check everything out. Is rad getting hot all over, top and bottom stuff like that.
Think you would be getting overheated all the time if it had a head problem, as Wammers said, check your rad as per his post and do the rolled up newspaper test on the viscous fan. If you cannot get a newspaper then use The Sun. Get engine hot, try and stop the fan with said newspaper. If you are covered in confetti then it's ok, if not either change the fan or you can do without the fan and use the A/C fans, PM Datatek for details, failing that I think I have a copy somewhere.+

its the fan next step speak to Datatek
Or just replace the viscous. I think someone said you could get just the core part but not sure if they were talking about the diesel or not.
Glad you enjoyed it, I do bear a grudge, remember Hillsborough.@tomcat59alan - "If you can't find a newspaper, use The Sun" = HilariousThanks - made I larff
