Hi, probably a stupid question but does anyone know a likely location for the CD changer in a Disco 2? I have had a quick look around but cannot see it!
Normally the CD changer is under the drivers seat, well it is on mine.

I have a cd changer out of a disco, not sure which one, if you want it let me know
it is always something I forget to check when buying a car - which reminds me I never checked if the locking wheel nut key is there!!!
now that would be a priority, you can drive without music
getting anywhere with a flat you can't change is problematic![]()
isn't that what we pay through the nose for the AA for?!!![]()
Mine too![]()
No!cheers I will have a look tomorrow. there is some sort of compartment there but when I stuck my hand in (I didn't actually look) I couldn't feel anything. It is quite possible it is not there!!! just my luck!
When I bought my Disco 1 in the days when they were still quite expensive, the CD player was full of discs.it is always something I forget to check when buying a car - which reminds me I never checked if the locking wheel nut key is there!!!
...and the two clever wedge type chocks are also in the bag, or should be.The CD player is under the driver's seat, as already said. There should be a small panel in the front of it to allow access to the 6 disc magazine.
The locking wheel nut key should be in a small(ish) wallet normally stowed in the pocket in the rear door. You should also find the little gizmo for pulling the covers off the locking nuts, the wheelbrace and the handle pieces for the jack.
If you're missing the wheel nut key, then a Land Rover dealer should be able to tell you the original code for your vehicle when you provide the VIN and proof of ownership.
The jack should be stowed behind the battery, under the battery cover.
