Right then ive recently acquired a 1967 series 2a land rover and thought i would share this with you all, now my 90 is almost finished -

i brought it as an unfinished project, its pretty tatty not 100% original but then again what is thats suffered 46 years of heavy use. luckily its fairly solid and hasn't actually made it onto the road since the chassis was replaced a couple of years ago (not galvanised unfortunately) just needs the paint touching up where brake fluid has blistered it, the bulkhead has been patched in the past unfortunately straight over the bad stuff i reakon, so thats going to get redone along with some new metal where the clutch slave pokes through (something to do with the 300 Tdi under the bonnet
) ) and the front panel needs some attention the bottom is going to be replaced. the doors need some welding to the bottom corners and one of the door tops is cracked need to look into wether to replace it (have a dabble in some ally welding/soldering) or replace them with the proper series type.

the two of them

Front panel corrosion,

started to disconnect the EGR,

Damaged door top,

Sam
