how did you go about bending the steel?

Bloody hell mate what welder is that in picture 4??
can you list metal thickness and quantities & did you cut them out your self or were they lazer cut.

Cleaning, polishing weld. Primer and matt black paint.

"Home made" welding yes, lazer cut.

A really good set of photos and explanations of what you have done. The vehicle looks really nice and that winch bumper is very neat.

I like your process of working on cardboard first. It is what I am doing too and makes it all look as you want it before actually spending any cash on steel.

Did you make the hoop as well or have that lying around? So whats next?
