After the confidence that changing the intercooler inspired, and inability to get to a garage, i decided to attempt to put on the terrafirma 2" lift kit...... Very nervous about being under an extremely jacked up landy, but all went well and managed to get at least one corner done. Hope that now...

Tonight escalated very quickly.... Annoyingly i also found out (albeit i presumed it was there) that the air con has been removed......

This morning was final clean up of the headlights - now just waiting on some Sikaflex221 adhesive/sealent to seal the units back up again Any other reccomendaitons on sealant? Also - Whats the best thing to use to clean up the external hue on headlights?

Decided that the passenger headlight full of water was annoying me too much.......

I can see why there may be initial seating problems - there really doesn’t seem to be a seat at all on the steel modular rims, yet there is quite a chamfer on the wheel nuts! I’ll make sure I let the garage know to check before changing all the tyres over to the modulars and being left wheel-less!

Hummn - this perhaps throws a spanner in the works.... I have ordered (and since received) a set of 20 steel wheel nuts and 5 locking steel wheel nuts.... What would the difference between the interface on a modular aftermarket steel wheel and a genuine D2 steel wheel? In discussion and...

Managed to find the locking steel wheel nuts for the new wheels - 4x4 tyres sell them and i think theyre Tuff Rok parts. Wheels have arrived - they look amazing I was going to attempt to change the shocks back to the 2" lift kit myself but i have a distinct lack of lifting/jacking kit, let...

I guess just another thing to keep an eye on! Maybe it’ll be a little less drippy once I’ve replaced the rocker gasket, cam seal etc.... I better put a drip tray underneath the front end as i currently have the car stored in a friends very clean garage, which has (had) surprisingly pristine...

After further reading these are Wading plugs that are supposed to be removed regularly to prevent moisture / other build up in the clutch / bell housing - anooying its not there at all though. Time to seek a replacement Annoyingly now more worried about all the oil underneath the car.....

So..... Just went to take a look at a few bits im going to do some work on over the next week or so (once bits arrive) and noticed some oil on the floor under the car - only a small ammount, so initially wasnt worried, thougth id still inspect though, as id rather no oil..... Pretty sure...
