Well that didn’t go to plan

I’ve been sorting out some bits of bodywork on my 90 and am thinking I might be better off repainting the whole motor, any ideas on what sort of quantity of paint required? As just weighing up options.
Another thing is what to do with the chequer plate, leave as is (it’s been put on with something like tiger seal and pop rivets so an arse to get off without bending it to buggery)
Colour code, but that defeats the reason for it or spray wit a bed liner but I think that may be too much black
decisions decisions

1. Leave plates on bonnet and wings and respray chosen body colour
2. remove lower edge checker plates as they're only ever there to cover up some known/unknown panel gout...unless you know all is well, then paint as body
3. don't know paint volume, but would be worth talking to Paintman, then add 10% https://paintman.co.uk/
4. UPOL Raptor is available in body tintable, not just black. Simply buy Raptor 2k tintable, add 10-20% body colour, mix well and spray

I'm not a fan of bed liner paint on external paintwork but have seen some great rooking Defenders with bed liner sprayed panels. But I think this is down to bodywork colour...it would look **** in bright blue.

I Raptor tinted the complete underside of my Brooklands Green MGB V8, it looks superb and is tough as nails

Tinted Raptor may work for the chequer plate as would not stand out like a sore thumb but still could be used as intended without scratching a painted finish.
Can’t remove the Lower sections as would leave loads of rivet holes. Drivers door is good, passenger door is newly refurbed, new sections of frame and new skin
