Mine have only been out of the garage once since lockdown and that was just for a clean
Ones been sorned for a year, one for 6 years, and one for 38 years.

Back on topic ...

Another no for WD40 - it's predominantly kerosene, and is not even the best for what it is "designed" to do ...

Please don't subject your locks to it

Me too, brother, back in the day.
But now I ride a fair-weather bike, in fair weather only.
It's a Ducati 650 Desmo proddy racer: loud, fast and totally unsuitable for an old git in their mid-70's.

I'm sorry to say I sold my FJR a while ago, it was not getting enough use to justify the insurance cost.

@Gunnerhavesome, a little bit of petrol and dry it off with a lighter. You can warm your hands at the same time

After we move next month I'm hoping to have time / space / etc to try to recommission my old T3 bitsa that has been off the road around 10 years. And try to sort the blow head gasket on the 900 Legend. Was shocked on the SR125 commuter bike this month when I took it for the MOT. Only done 150 miles in the year. At least 1/3 were for pleasure though.
