Thanks Marjon, will have a look at the above, this where we are upto with it at the moment.... We think its the ECU in the column but you cant buy the ECU as a separate item. You cant buy a column anymore either (Part no LR009778) and if you could its about £4500 + Vat, have seen used columns...

Fully agree Rick, its all about having the right people working on your car when it does go wrong and the P38 is OK when its sorted, it just takes time and £££,s to get there ;)

Update on my engine disabled message problem, I sent BECM and engine ECU to Callrova and I have refitted it today and everything is working perfectly........for now:);),fantastic service from Callrova & many thanks to those that tried to help, I will disconnect the battery the next time I mess...

I fitted poly bushes to mine about 6 months ago,thought I,d done the wrong thing at first as everything felt itbwas solid afterwards but its all settled down now and have a smooth ride

Thanks for all the advice on my battery drain/alarm problem.....I had the BECM all checked and that came back with a clean bill of health, I have also replaced the LH door lock and upto now the car has not given any bother, no battery drain,no aalarms going off and no alarm messages on dash...

Thanks for all the info you,ve all been a great help, in the next few weeks I,m going to get the BECM taken out and checked,by someone who has done it before of course, and I,ll replace the LH door latch, I,ll keep you posted when its done to report what the car does once those jobs are done.

Thanks chaps, footwells are dry, I have my suspicions about the door lock as the LH door does not operate the interior light, car has a habit of the BECM losing its code for no reason also :confused:
