Where did you get them from? The only leaf springs I could find were £190 a spring!

I did suspect that, but everybody was just saying to me, "oh they just need a bit of oil". I have been looking at replacement springs, are parabolics any good? or should I just put new leaf springs on? The parabolics I was looking at were good quality rocky mountain ones.

Right found a 300Tdi thats going to go in sometime in the next two weeks. What do you reckon to these rear spring hangers, should they be on a right angle?

I had heard of those, but I doubt thats on mine as its from 1981 and the turbo is not that old. The only reason I would put the 2.5 in is because that there is one ready and it will be fitted, with warranty. What do you guys reckon to my rear springs?
