springs past its best

The hangers look fine, but the spring looks a bit tired! There should be a reasonable curve to the springs, these look flat.

I did suspect that, but everybody was just saying to me, "oh they just need a bit of oil". I have been looking at replacement springs, are parabolics any good? or should I just put new leaf springs on? The parabolics I was looking at were good quality rocky mountain ones.

Depends on budget .. I went with standard replacements when I did me old series, and it felt like a new vehicle anyway!

Where did you get them from? The only leaf springs I could find were £190 a spring!

It's a few years ago, place in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, can't remember the name. I only lived a couple of miles away. IIRC they were only about £50 ish ...
