    Well, an update.... Tried some heat but made little difference but still trying to avoid sump while engine suspended on engine crane so made a special 'thin' 1/2 ring spanner with the help of Mr angle grinder..... Success! torque convertor removed with flex plate. Now having inspected...

    Yep sump off seems to be next option although some heat on the threads to burn off threadless may also help? Tried irwin bolt grip sockets but they simply chew more metal from bolt head maybe better if I could hammer it on. Final option is to cut through tc mount.

    While removing torque convertor bolts on my engine 4.6 gems, I rounded one of the bolts and they are a pig to get at! Can I remove the 4 bolts that hold flywheel and flex to crank to get access? Anybody done this? Are they too tight for an open ended wrench? Any other access suggestions...

    hi all, need some help and advice... the v8 3.9efi in my landy has always startrd and ran well since i fittef it Nov 2011. its done approx 80k. Recently it has cut out a couple of times but only once its done 5-8 miles, it simple splutters and stops. if i turn it over on the starter it fires...

    Hi, very interested in converting my imperial calipers to vented discs. I have the spacers, bolts from some metric vented calipers. I intend to drill the split pin holes to take the longer solid pins (from the vented calipers) .......but I have been told that early imperial discs are...
