Mine doesn't have a gauge. I just reset the trip like you say. It's surprising how it can vary according to use. Steady driving with no trailer is definitely best - but that doesn't get the caravan to the south of France does it. That said LPG is cheaper and more readily available over there.

Has anyone any experience of dismantling a LPG kit? Is there any special safety measures that need to be considered when removing a LPG tank ?
