How do I know if it is classed as a 4x4 utility vehicle?

I'm 17 looking at getting a defender 90/110 or series 3 maybe, but the big thing for me is insurance and is the body type is classed as a '3 door estate' the insurance is around 10,000. But if it is classed as a '4x4 utility van' is around 1,000. So is there any way to know what body type it...

However if it is classed as a 4x4 utility vehicle then that brings it down to just over/just under a grand depending on whether...
