I should direct him to appropriate insurers guys he's not gonna get much help from the normals is he. On my phone in foreign lands so no use

So if it aint a csw then it's a van?
I'm sure I'll understand this one day.. ;)

Assuming it's not a very new landy, If it's a 90 and a genuine csw it will have 2/3 seats in the front and will have 4 seats (or 2x 2 man bench seats inwards facing) in the rear and windows all down both sides.

A van has solid panel sides, a pick-up has an open load space, You can also get varients which are a van but with windows in the rear like a station wagon has (or windows can be retro-fitted).

110's have an even bigger list of varients.

Right okay, thanks for clearing that up :)

According to the insurers database my 90 is a soft top, it isn't, its a van. I don't know if the vehicle has been changed and had a hard top fitted or if the database is in error. The insurance cost didn't change when I made them aware of the difference.

Dont bother with main stream insurers (all that compare bollocks) you will get no sense,
talk to a land rover insurer and explain wot you want and
be honest, its wot they say goes not wot folk say.
The womon at NOR COUNTY was as nice as pie when insuring my hybrid

It'd be called driving with no insurance. think ya mates might be a bit upset when ya crash it, and kill em all. Un they can't sue ya cos ya got no insurance

If he's killed them how are they going to sue him? If he doesn't kill them then why should no insurance stop them suing him?
