I have a mate with a pair of Brand new never been fitted Land Rover Leaf Springs, the only thing I know about them is the following numbers C 3974 replaced by 264363. IS.37 replaced by 6R Can anyone tell me what they are off.

I got one with a heated screen from a place in Liverpool, I think it was £135, It fitted a treat, I fitted a chequer plate panel on the inside, but buy a blank and fit it yourself other wise the cut outs for wiper motor and door lock are in the wrong places. Worth all the work, the previous one...

I replaced my seals on Sunday, cos the plug had snapped off, I had to drill and tap the hole to fit a new plug, when I put it all back together, I bleed the whole system it takes a while of hand cranking the lift pump, you can also jog the starter in 3 second bursts to start the priming process.

Put a switch in the line to the fuel cut off solenoid. Or fit an aftermarket system from eBay.

I have 86 defender with a 12J N/A fitted, the current fuel pump is a STC 1190, it was fitted about a year ago, I think that it is playing up and want to replace it with an electric pump, has any one done this if so what have you used. Does any one know what the pressure and flow rate is for STC...

The Seals on my Swivel Hubs need repalcing, is there any advantage of fitting Heavy duty drive flanges, will it save having to set the endfloat on the halfshafts.
