Copper pipe? It's just the ease if a kit that appeals, I've done a couple of old minis in the past so I have the tools. A kit would save some time. I presume the lines are 3/16 or 7.6mm. Could somebody confirm this for me?

Yep i got it sorted, was just like yours the 2nd fuel pump had gone. Paid £200 cash supplied and fitted. The pump had seized, so not only would it not pump it had also stopped any fuel at all from passing through it.

Fuel pressure was something that I had thought of but his notes say he's tested it and its ok. Could be something on the rail tho

Hi again. Well the AA was wrong. I've replaced the crank sensor but the engine still has no go. It turns over and over but not starting. It attemps to on easy start but then just dies again. Any ideas?

The AA guys notes definatly say the Crankshaft sensor and having looked on google there are companies selling them. Funny its not in the manual tho:confused: Just been out to the car and woundered if this could be it. located on the passenger side of the engine towards the back of the engine bay

Yes he plugged into it and the fault codes lead back to the sensor.
