Sound like you are doin well!!. I'll be honest the free wheel hubs are normally quite basic and should be greased,normally have a large screw or grub screw in to regrease. I found no improvement in effeciency on fuel with free wheel hubs in the past-lets face it series are part time 4x4...

could be hard to narrow down,bad alternator can go tight and squeel,as above get a length of hose pipe and aim around engine bay-touch the varius components to try and isolate the tone.. check the vac connection on the inlet manifiold that sure will whistle if it is open!

i would rule out every wheel 1st so clamp the flexi lines 1 by one until you get a firm pedal if you don,t get a firm pedal then it is the master for sure. i remember i had a similar problem years ago when i swapped out the master cylinder,basically when i adjusted the rod from the master...

hi the screen was a geniune one by pilkington,i used a new rubber,i put the seam at the bottom like the original one was- it was pretty tight to get in so think the glass was a good,do you think maybe the little seam could have gave a bit???? does anyone know which sealer is best for this...

Hi i have replaced my screen and rubber seal,used some cord and it went in well on the second attempt.it appears to be letting water in when i go round a corner i have a nice little tide that goes from side to side.i have checked the rubber and it seems to fit well. has anyone had this problem...

had a 3.5 high compression engine from one of the old rover cars in a series years ago,you would need to spend alot of money on a diesel to keep up,i prefer plodding around in a TD and saving the cash these days..

sure someone could help you,i would think about upgading cooling if you pushing out more performance. probably be good though as long as the engine lasts

hi your shopping list looks good,you prob don't need any shims there should be enough to re-use. you will want 2 railko bushes(go in top of the top of the swivel balls,for king pin to sit in. you will want some new tab things to stop the 8 nuts from undoing. front half shaft are normally very...

one shot in series swivels not best,railko bush etc will wear quicker,if you replace the swivel balls and seals and new bushes go back to oil. dont forget to shim the king pin etc,put the same shims if any on the bottom and make adjustments with the top king pin shims,think it was 15lb to pull...
