Can anyone tell me which wire does what as there has been mice attacking the wiring at the multiplug which the wires are all black

Hey folks not been on in a while but I need some help. Got a really bad knock develop on the 300 and found the A frame chassis mount had rotted through and came away from the chassis. Does anyone have any idea where I can get replacements???

For sills imo box section is the way to go. iv recently done it to my disco. mine was quite badly rotten both sills inner and outer were gone as was a section of the floor on both sides. 2 sections of box for the sills and some 2mm sheet metal cut and shaped for the floor.likelyhood is that the...

i agree to an extent but thats not always the case. the 300TDI which im repairing at the minute,both sills,floor on both sides,rear arches are rotten but the boot floor,innerwings,rear crossmember,seat belt anchorages are all solid which i found strange but its true.the sills on jemima look...

you seem to have overlooked an element here. have you had the block face checked? i would say the block face needs decking or better still fit a recon engine

Well i attacked my discovery with a grinder over the weekend. cut out all the rot along the sills and part of the floor. most of the inner sill is gone along with the outer.got the passengers side all cleaned up and mounted the box section and tacked in place.Not bad for about 5 hours work and...

Put it this way when I returned from 3 months work in Vienna at the start of December the snow was above the bottom edge of the doors on the wife's focus and my vectra. :D

Thanks for the welcome folks. Hopefully I'll enjoy my Disco,it's a bit slower than my other cars ;) but on the flip side the disco won't get stuck in the snow :D
