    Correct, done it with a scraper that holds a Stanley knife blade, bit of spit and polish and now as good as new. I still have the white disc on the inside so am I correct in thinking I can just cut through the cable and remove the disc? Also does anyone know if I can just cut away the handset...

    Cheers for that bit of info, I was only guessing that the cable passed through the window. The phone was in the car when I bought it. I might just have a go tomorrow, it looks better now and if it looks naff after the removal I will place a sticker over it :)

    thanks guys, think I will live with the chip, its right in line with a wire going up the screen. It passed through the MOT so should be fine. As for the aerial, I have unscrewed the antenna and again, I can live with the sucker type fitting on the back window.
