Alex, I just have to say that I have just bought a P38 (without owners manual) and the radio was locked. I googled and tried all sorts like, remove fuse 1, wait for 2 hrs etc and then I read your post.....perfect. Within 2 minutes my radio is up and running again. Many thanks from a newbie. Jim
