I was working for the MOD when the where converting LHD snatch's to RHD WMIK rovers......still interested in a run down of work invloved?

you get 90 length wolfs and have the same wheels as 110. will be fine.

adding top that, get the belt replaced as it sounds pretty shagged anyway, see what it sounds like then.

I replaced a wear cap on cylinder number 3 exhaust valve on an engine this week due to a clicking sound. the vehicle had probbaly been running like it for a while so 15 miles to your local garage shouldn't be a problem. i assume you're not very handy with the spanners?

70nm is more than enough. small amount of lock tight too. new bolts from landrover will come with thread lock on.

If you cant see any damage to the belts then its more than likely the wear cap on the end of a valve stem busted, quite common for collapsing and then giving you a large gap between the bottom of the rocker and the top of the valve, hence the clicking or tapping noise.

you tried bleeding the system again? take the small hose of the top of the thermostat housing (that runs to the collant resevoir) stick a drill bit or a bolt in the hose to block it off and fill the system up untill collant comes out of the stat housing. could be an air lock preventing the flow.

is it the front or rear axle? the rear axle's on these ex mod 110's have an inner and an outer bearing oil seal so would be one of them. the rubber cover of the outside is merely a dust cover to stop grime getting onto the end of the half shaft and siezing the drive flange to the half shaft.

are you hitting the spanner with a hammer? try getting a flat piece of steel, place one end on a flat of the nut and hit with a hammer, the shock of doing this should free off any grime thats holding it on. the only thing after this would be to apply some heat to it.

its the temperature sensor for the EGR system, that along with the throttle position sensor on a non edc fuel pump will tell the EGR control unit the information it needs to position the EGR valve correctly.

Replace the injector leak of pipe assembly, if that had perished it will be drawing in air and returning back to the fuel pump. some of the leak of from the injectors will return to the fuel tank and some of it will re-circulate back into the fuel pump via the banjo union on the fuel pump. if...
