Hello All I have had a visit from a couple of chaps from across the water in there white van asking if my disco is for sale.Its a 95 plate and not modified in any way should I be thinking about additional security measures and if so does anyone have any suggestions ? Thank you

Hello I have found that the bottom fixing on my rear shocks has around 5mm -10mm of travel in the seating cups even with new bushes .there are only two washers per unit is this normal as it looks like I either need to extend the thread or pack up with washers ,any advice appreciated thanks...

Hi Could someone tell me the size or part number for the bolt that holds the rear anti roll bar to the ball joint as I am having trouble finding the information myself. There both seized and will be best to cut off and replace I think . Cheers Dean

thank you for the reply My speedo has been working ok , I dont use the diff lock very often and cannot say if it ever shows on the dash. I have just tested the diff lock and light does show,going up to yorkshire tomorrow from the midlands and was a bit worried as I havnt had been far in it...

Hello I have a 95 300tdi and whilst changing the oil in the transfer box noticed a cable disconected ,it was hanging next to what looks like a sensor on top of the transfer box.The car has been running fine and is also ok since I reconnected it . Could someone tell me what its for please ...

Hello I have noticed a noise which is not unlike screeching fireworks when I take my foot of the accelerator ( coasting ), it seems to happen when the engine is cold and goes away after a few miles. sometimes its worse than others. Could it have anything to do with the turbo ? . Any advice...

the type of grease used is called semi fluid grease but not sure of its spec
