My RRC Driver's door handle snapped off! Stupid cold!!

Hey there. I trust that this will be moved if need be, but I (again alas) snapped off my driver's LH outer handle of my 94' range rover classic in latest cold spell! Finding a replacement State-side of the pond has been difficult but I've read that door handle/pulls from the Discovery 1...

    clicking sound ???

Hmmm...If it's not leaking anything or making noise strangely it is not really a rover now is it? Does it make any worse noise if you are making a turn? I had a similar problem erupt with my 94' rover. It sounded exactly like you described, but quickly developed clunking sounds and seizing if I...

RR classic - Front axle noise, any ideas?

I'm the relative newbie here...but, have you checked out the differential? I have a 94' LWB and just recently ran into some loud grinding/banging noises from my front axle area. Turned out my front differential was in dire need of replacement. It made rattling noises at higher speeds but...

Good tire/tyre to handle the weight of the car without having to replace them every 20,000 miles. They're a bit pricier; but will last a long...

    Thinking of getting a Classic

Have to agree with almost all the posts...I love mine. When I bought it, it had a rotting deer carcass on the roof rack and lots of rust and problems. Look for rust in the tail gate. That almost always (eventually) needs replacing. But then again, check for rust everywhere! Like dkl1971 says...

New and living on Yankee Side of the Pond

Greetings. Got my first Rover! A beat up 1994 LWB for very cheap and have been slowly fixing it up to the point where I can actually drive it and check for upgrades on sites like this. I'm loving the beast. Just wish there were more Rover clubs around my area in the States so I can learn...
