    L322 ABS Relay help

Hi, I have a code on the car that says "0x000E-ABS valve relay". I have searched on line and can buy a relay that matches that description, but cannot find where on earth that relay is in the car? I have googled (it just shows me where the air suspension relay is?) and I have looked on all...

    Re introduction!

Hi all, i was here around 2010 when we had a Freelander, which was sold and hence no more visits. However, I have bought a very cheap L322 (2004 V8 with LPG) so here I am again. So hello again, a question in the correct forum will follow. Cheers

Why can the Freelander only tow 2000kg?

Stopping was the biggest problem I can tell you.

Why can the Freelander only tow 2000kg?

A bit naughty but my Gaylander managed to tow a 3.5 ton mini digger that was on a 1 ton trailer  Didnt have to too far, but managed the 5 miles OK.

    Bloody Hell!

OK. Thanks for all the help! Think I will go for one of those-looks ideal. It does look as though the connectors are different though. The current one has those flat ones that slide on, but the GT0804 looks like there are round ish...I wish I had paid more attention at school!

    Bloody Hell!

Nope. Have taken the sub out and have it in front of me and nothing :(
  12. P

    Bloody Hell!

The sub is actaully 6.5", but I honestly dont think it matters, as I can still mount it on the underside of the cubby hole lid. I might just need to make some new holes etc. One problem is that nowhere does it give me the impedance, which is ohm's I think or the wattage of the original sub...

    Bloody Hell!

Lindas stereo (05 V6) was making some odd noises, so I checked the speakers out. The rear door one is gone, so have ordered a new one from LR at £30 (not bad). Further check revealed that the sub woofer thing is whats making most of nasty noise, so called LR back. £450  Anyone got any...

    Harmen Kardon door speaker!

Jasey boy I have a knackered rear speaker in mine and have been thinking about getting a new one...where did you buy yours from? Thanks Phil

Are Freelander brakes made of cheese?

About 6k miles ago I had new pads and discs fitted on the V6 (05). It seems the pads are fooked again-get some major noise after long hard braking  Are they generally cosidered to be rubbish? If so, are there any recommended alternatives? Cheers ETA-I do tow a trailer with...

    Tyre Size??

If I were you, i would go for the General Grabber AT 215/65/16 and keep the size the same. Just had 4 on mine and I love them.

    Fed up with the laughter

    Why not the V6?

    2.5 V6 Fuel Consumption / MPG

I didnt realise that the V6s used water? Whats the issue with them?

    2.5 V6 Fuel Consumption / MPG

Its the Mrs car actually and she gets around 230 out of a tank-that a 17 mile A/B road drive each way. I have seen 240 when driving at 70mph (unusal to go that slow, but had a bad wheel wobble). Strange thing is, even when I tow my track car (E36 BMW) on a twin axle Brian James trailer, I...

    Freelander wobble/vibration. RESULT!

2005 V6 had new General Grabbers on 16" rims fitted (down from 17" rims) and off I went to freinds 85 miles away for NYE. Was a slow trip, so never went over 60ish, too much traffic. Soon as I got there, tested new tyres by doing figure of 8s with full opposite lock round his fields..:cool...
