Hi,

I have a code on the car that says "0x000E-ABS valve relay".

I have searched on line and can buy a relay that matches that description, but cannot find where on earth that relay is in the car?

I have googled (it just shows me where the air suspension relay is?) and I have looked on all the forums for relay fuse maps, but none of them tell me.

Does anyone know?

Thanks

Phil

Someone with knowledge will be along soon. @Saint.V8 juggles work , wife, young kids and his own vehicles, with answers on here. Others have similar real life juggles. You only posted 24hrs ago so just relax, until Ant or someone passes by again. It won't be long ;)

There are no relays in the ABS system, except those located inside the ABS ECU/Module itself.....as far as I know.

Looking at the wiring diagram confirms this - there is a relay in the diagram, but it is part of the Engine ECU system and not the ABS system.

The ABS system the L322 uses is taken from the E39, E53 and E38 bimmers, and depending on which application it is being used in - some features are turned off or on as required during the coding process....it could be either a replacement ECU from another vehicle and not coded correctly and as such it is reporting the absence of something the L322 doesn't have, or there is indeed an internal fault to the module....

Does the ABS system actually work? Find a loose bit of gravel, make sure no one is around, acelerate and then jump on the brakes....if you get the typical ABS judder then I would say it is working OK, if it locks up, the ABS system needs further investigation.
