i had the same problem, my battery would usually last about 2-3 days if I did not use the car, I got an optima red top and its brilliant, there about £110. but it certainly wont go flat on you.

I've got a 1996 HSE, I work out it costs pretty much 50pence per mile. I do mainly in town driving averaging around the 8.5-9.6 MPG. (and thats carefull driving, never going above 2K rpm). The best i have ever got was 18MPG on a long mototway journey. Does anyone know if its a viable option...
